I am truly humbled. When I first started this blog, I would never have guessed that so many people would spend their time and appreciation here. Every like, reblog, follow, and every view means a lot to me. Thank you.

inspiremeplz--deactivated201408 asked: Question, if you don't mind. I'm an artist, mostly ceramics and acrylics and things of that sort- how would you suggest I get into hand lettering? Any really good resources you can suggest? Thank you :)

Hi! It certainly helps that you have a background in art- hand lettering takes a healthy dose of art and another of function. My best suggestion is to look at anything that has lettering in it- font catalogs, hand lettering blogs, store logos, posters, etc…and to be inspired by these. Maybe copy some out as part of your learning process, or write your own words in their style- giving credit where it is due if you decide to publish any on a personal blog, of course- and soon you will begin to understand what constitutes a good design.
It’s cliche, but practice makes perfect!! Good luck :)
